What speaking with horses taught me about film
Updated: Sep 9
Being able to film one of the most beautiful animals in the world in one of the most beautiful places in the world is extraordinarily special.
I am no horse whisperer. I don't think Robert Redford is either, but he is one my favorite film directors. I have shoot coming up next week where I will be able to film some horses in Kamuela on hundreds of acres of open pastures. I really love trusting my instincts when I am filming. I really just try to worry about how certain ideas and subjects and views make me feel. I am always going for what makes me feel the most emotion in a scene, as opposed to worrying about what others might think about it. That has been the secret to my success as a producer. 09.09.2020
